Maurizio is the same people who are behind Basic Channel in general...
and yes, the sound of Maurizio is very much the sound of Basic
Channel.
I can't say for sure without the track name but yes it's likely that
the one on Ambient Excursions is also him.
I still can't get that "heroin house" quote of Simon Reynolds out of
my head from an earlier post. Hehehe, that one sure hits the mark
dead on... =) but seriously, I think a discography is available for
Maurizio and/or BC, if anyone can point to it.

I'm listening to the M7 remix CD and I really like it, did he released
a full CD ?
He is the same Maurizio that was on one of the "Ambient Excursions"
release on "Astralwerks" ?
And are the other releases on "Basic Channel" of the same type ?
